Welcome! Please take a few moments to get to know Soquel High School and our website, which can put you in touch with the extraordinary opportunities at SHS.

The Academics section contains information on course offerings including a variety of AP courses, the renowned Humanities Academy, and the Green Manufacturing, Engineering, and Construction (gMEC) Academy. Peruse the Counseling section of this website for college entrance information, testing dates, and scholarship opportunities. The Performing Arts section details the Soquel High award-winning Jazz Band, comprehensive ceramics studio, and drama programs such as Knights of the Square Stage. Clubs, lunch-time bands, and school spirit are just a few of the things enjoyed by Soquel High students.

Monday, March 9th~ALL DAY from 11am-10pm and Chili's will donate 15% of sales back to our Grad Night 2015 fund! Just mention you are there to support our Event!!  
 Come out and support the Soquel High Vocal Department at our
Pops Concert on Wednesday, March 11 2015 at 7:30pm.  The concert will feature
performances by our men's and women's choruses, Concert Choir and Jazz Singers.
Admission is $7 at the door in the MU Room, and all proceeds go to raise money to fund our
accompanist.  See you there!


8th Grade Parent Night Date Change


There has been a change in venue for the 8th Grade Parent Night for both Shoreline and New Brighton Middle Schools. There will be one meeting only, and it will be held at Soquel High on Thursday, March 12, 2015 from 6:30-7:30pm in the Soquel High M.P.R. Shoreline, New Brighton and all other 8th grade parents from private and charter schools with a child who will be attending Soquel High in the fall are invited to attend this information filled event.  Go Knights!


Goodwill Trailer Fundraiser

The Goodwill Donation trailer will be in the lower parking lot on March 27, 28 & 29th to collect items. Please bring your stuff because we want it! All proceeds benefit the Soquel Music Foundation Fill the truck and we receive $1000! Donate gently used clothes, household goods, sporting goods, books, working electronics, etc. Please no furniture or large items. Trailer will be open from 9am-3pm, each day. Thank you for your support. For further info or questions, please contact Betsy @ This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Attention Seniors

Attention Seniors who plan or may attend Cabrillo College this Fall 2015. Click on the link to go to the page with instructions and deadlines to qualify for Running Start which is Cabrillo's priority registration. Get started now as their are a few steps to complete. The first assement is February 3rd. Please see Ms. Banks at break, lunch or after school in Homework Club on Mondays, Wednesdays or Fridays if you need assistance.

Soquel Creek Water District will be replacing piping along Soquel Drive from 41st Avenue to Porter Street/Old San Jose Road starting in mid-March. Traffic control and partial road closures affecting Soquel Drive will be in effect through August 2014 from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. This will include one-lane limitations and no left-hand turns at times. The area will be subject to traffic delays of up to 15 minutes on Soquel Drive and some adjoining cross streets. Up-to-date information on road closures is available at sccroadclosure.org. Project information is available at soquelcreekwater.org.
