Volleyball - Hurrah for Girls Volleyball!!!  They won on Saturday 11/26 defeating Marin Catholic, 3 games to 1.  It was a fast and surprising match.  TOMORROW, Tuesday 11/29 they are playing in the NorCal Finals (the first time since 1992) against Union Mine High School in El Dorado at 7p.  Come and support your team; the crowd does make a difference.  Goooooooo Knights!!

Cross Country - Congratulations to runners Kaila Gibson and Katie Alioto.  They represented SHS well in the CIF D-IV State Race this past Saturday, 11/26 in Fresno placing 6th and 30th respectively.  Great season!

Fundraiser - Tomorrow, Wednesday 11/30, for Grad Night at Pizza My Heart on 41st Avenue from 4-9p.  Everyone is welcome to come and buy great food.  Just mention SHS and we receive a portion of your purchase.

Seniors - The application deadline for Fall 2012 enrollment for UC and CSU is midnight THIS Wednesday, 11/30.  NO EXCEPTIONS!!  Don’t miss this deadline!!!

SAT Testing - Revolution Prep is hosting a PRACTICE test on December 10 in Rm. 120.  Sign up online at www.revolutionprep.com OR by calling (877) 738-7737.  It is only $10 for this test.  See Mrs. Banks in Counseling if you need a scholarship to take this test.

Community Service - THIS Sunday, 12/4 at the Santa Cruz Civic Auditorium, the Grey Bears are hosting a holiday dinner for senior citizens.  If you want to help clean up, please see Mrs. Banks in Counseling.

Teen Peer Court - Come get Community Service hours at the Santa Cruz Courthouse, 701 Ocean Street, THIS Thursday, 12/1 at 4p.  

Blood Drive - Is being held TOMORROW, Wed. 11/30 in the Upper Gym from 8a-2:30p.  All permission slips MUST have been turned in by now.  Help save lives - give blood!!

Seniors & Juniors - Cap/gown and ring orders are to be turned in to the Jostens rep TODAY and TOMORROW, Tuesday 11/29 and Wednesday 11/30 at LUNCH in front of the Front Office.  Those students with last names ending in A-L are today and those with M-Z are tomorrow.

Yearbook - The price of the yearbook is being raised to $75 THIS Thursday, December 1st!  There will be booth sales in the 1st Quad TODAY, Tuesday 11/29, and TOMORROW, Wednesday 11/30, so purchase your yearbook before the price changes!

Holiday Boutique - NEXT Thursday, 12/8 from 7:30a-7:30p in Rm. 600.  Come do your holiday shopping - lots of unique and wonderful gifts for the season.  Support your SHS ROP Floral Design and FFA programs!
