PARENTING IN THE DIGITAL AGE

Have you ever wondered:
  • How to talk to your child about what he/she is doing online?
  • How much privacy you should allow your teen?
  • How to prevent your child from being the target of cyber-bullying?
  • How to teach your child "good digital citizenship"?

Santa Cruz City Schools' Teacher Librarians present a panel of experts to respond to parents' concerns in taking a proactive role in helping their children become responsible, safe, digital citizens on Feb. 16, 7-8:30 p.m. at the Santa Cruz High Auditorium. The panel, including professionals from counseling, law enforcement, UCSC, County Office of Education, and the Public Library, will answer your questions. Plan on attending to learn about guiding your child through life in the digital age.
Middle School and High School students are welcome to attend with their parents. No childcare will be provided. Translation services will be available.Questions? Contact Madeline Britton at 831.429.3909 x 110
