NICARAGUA 2008! ONLY TWO SPOTS ARE LEFT
Soquel High students began going to Nicaragua in 2004.  The trip is a service trip, with plenty of fun and adventure on the side.  This year’s trip dates are August 9 through 18.  The cost of the trip is $1,300.  We fly from San Francisco, through Houston, to Managua.
While in Nicaragua, we will spend Monday through Friday mornings at a school that serves very poor children from pre-school through the ninth grade, playing with the children, teaching them dance, guitar, art, basketball, and American games with the mission of bringing joy to their lives.  In the afternoons and weekend, we go on local adventures, including a canopy tour on Mombacho Volcano, swimming in Lake Nicaragua, hiking in Chocoyero Natural Reserve, hiking Cerro Negro volcano, and watching turtles lay their eggs on the beach.
Reservations must be made no later than May 20.  A $300 deposit is required immediately to hold your place on the trip, with a final payment of $1,000 due on May 20.
Please call Haydi Danielson at (650) 222-8308 for more information.
