SHS Daily Bulletin is a valuable reference where millions ofonline
viewers seek and find information about school events, sports, club
meetings, etc. It is also a publication that reflects the incredible
school spirit, ever-present professional demeanor and dedicated
allegiance of our students and, most definitely, our staff to Soquel
High.
TUNE YOUR BIKE...for BIKE TO SCHOOL DAY. The MEC Acacdemy will
be giving a free bike clinic in the first quad on today, 5/13. Bring
your bike and major parts you know need to be replaced--the labor is
free.
GREAT JOB OPPORTUNITY: The popular
SANTA CRUZ MOTORSPORT is seeking a 'girl or boy FRIDAY' to assist with
a variety of duties and chores around the shop. Duties could include:
assisting mechanics, running errands to pick up parts/equipment, etc. A clean
drivers license is required for this really neat after school gig. More hours
would be available during the summer months. For more information, please call

ROP COSMETOLOGY SCHOOL: There
is still time to sign up for ROP Cosmo School. You need to be a
senior next year. Last forum is on Monday, June 9 at 1 p.m. at
Shoreline School of Cosmetology in downtown SC.

SWIMMERS/DIVERS: ....are
being asked to attend the potluck Awards dinner. This event will
be held on Tuesday, 5/27 at 6:00 p.m. in the Multi-Purpose Room.

CABRILLO REGISTRATION -- Seniors can go to Cabrillo College on
Friday to register early for their classes for next fall. Be sure to
have your parent excuse you from attending Soquel High that day, or you
will be marked absent!
SENIORS: Buy your GRAD NIGHT ticket on Friday, 5/16 in the front quad at 12:30....look for those balloons. $110
BLUE & GOLD CAFE will be closed this Thursday during brunch.
We will be open in the morning from 7:30-8:30 a.m. Come see us early to

SENIORS -- ARE YOU WORRIED you're not going
to do well at Cabrillo College? Then look for the Digital Bridge Academy table
at Running Start registration on Friday. This academy will enroll you in classes
for fall that will help you succeed in college and move on to careers
in Computer Information Systems, Engineering, Business, Management, Allied
Health majors (Nursing, Radiology, Dental Hygiene, etc.,) lab technician careers
(Biotechnology, Marine Science), Criminal Justice, Teaching, and other high-wage
or high-demand fields.
JOB OPPORTUNITY: Shampoo Chez , again, has need for a weekend store helper. See Cheryl in the Main Office for details.
JUNIORS: AP English Assessment is Friday, 5/16 after school in the library.
TRACK AND FIELD ATHLETES: please remember the end of the
season awards banquet and barbecue is Thursday, 5/15 at 5:00 p.m. at
Blue Ball Park. Don't forget to invite your family.
PROM STUFF: Seniors, the Prom is scheduled for Friday,
5/30. To be eligible to purchase a bid, students must fulfill the
following requirements: All athletic, library and textbook fees
must be paid; all Saturday School time must be completed; NO
unexcused absences for the entire week of May 26; NO suspensions for
the year; ALL parking tickets must be paid; all detention time served;
all graduation announcements, invitations, and other graduation
equipment picked up; all requested ID cards must be paid for and picked
up. Bids are in sale at the Attendance Office Window. Please
check the list of ineligible students and clear your obligations before
you wait in line.
GRAD NITE BABIES: SENIORS: Be sure to bring a picture for the
GRAD NIGHT BABY PICTURE WALL. Guess who is in the photo and win!!!!!
Unfortunately, pictures cannot returned. Please put pictures in the
labeled box in the office by June 6.
There are openings in ROP Video Productions and Bike Repair
classes for next year. If interested, see Farol Henderson or your
counselor. Both classes will be offered at Harbor High during the
school day.
CONGRATULATIONS to all seniors who collected their
graduation equipment.....HOWEVER, there are a few of you who have still
not picked up your announcements, invitations, caps, gowns, etc. Please
see Cheryl in the front office with your $5 fee as soon as possible to
collect these necessary items. Thank you.

your intent to sell and what items you will sell is May 16.
SUMMER SCHOOL spots are filling up quickly, so, if you want to
go -- or need to go -- see your counselor today. Summer school will be
at Costanoa High this year. Spots for students who have failed classes
are filling up quickly.
SENIORS: Please check list of overdue textbooks posted on the
door of the Textbook Room. Books must be returned or bills paid before
yearbook distribution, prom, and graduation.
