The SHS Daily Bulletin is a valuable reference where millions of online viewers seek and find information about school events, sports, club meetings, etc. It is also a publication that reflects the incredible school spirit, ever-present professional demeanor and dedicated allegiance of our students and, most definitely, our staff to Soquel High.

SENIORS: As Graduation is quickly approaching,we just want to remind you to make sure all of your fees are paid andyour Saturday School hours are completed. Failure to do so will prevent you from receiving your diploma until these obligations are completed. The Office will be closed for the summer after June 19.

CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATION CAREERS:  Sign up for the CSI summer 2008 class at Harbor High....June 16-July 17 from 9 am-noon.  Up to  3 credits available.  See Farol Henderson in room 121 to sign up this week.

KNIGHTS OF THE SQUARE STAGE present  The One Acts This year's not over and finals can't begin  until The Knights of The Square Stafe present the student directed/student written one act plays on Saturday, June 7 at 7:30....only $5 for quality entertainment.  Just the original thing to do for that special dated for that quirky relationship to begin....THe One Acts - it's quick, it's easy, it's fantabulous!!

GIRLS VARSITY SOCCER:  Varsity girls soccer players need to turn in their uniforms no later than Wednesday, June 4 or  your report cards will be put on hold.  Please turn them in to Ron Myers, Athletic Director as soon as possible.  Thank you again for a great season!

JUNIORS: What kind of Grad Night celebration do you want next year? Come share your ideas or listen to others at 3pm on Monday, June 2 in the front quad.

YEARBOOK INFO: Congratulations to Kaitlin Bullock, winner of the FREE yearbook raffle drawing! The 2008 yearbook is almost here! Early distribution will cost $2 and will take place during lunch and after school from Thurs., 6/6 – Fri., 6/7 in room 312. Books will NOT be distributed Wed., 6/5. Mass distribution is free and will take place each day after school from Mon., 6/9 – Wed., 6/11 in room 312. Bring your ID!!! Still need to purchase a yearbook? Pick up an order form from the Finance Office and turn it in by Fri., 6/6. Orders submitted after Tuesday, 6/3 will not be able to partake in early distribution. Students can purchases yearbooks for $90 at room 312 after school during mass distribution from Mon.,6/9 – Weds., 6/11.

INTERESTED IN THE OUTDOORS? -- How about a career in the outdoors? ROP next year is offering a course that will focus on outdoor adventure, careers and ecology. The class is for five units a semester and will be on the first and second Saturdays of the month. If interested, see Ms. Robinson in the counseling office.

SPORTS PHYSICALS: SHS athletes planning to play in the 2008-2009 school year: Sports Physicals are available for $20 on Tues., 6/3/ at 5:30 pm at the Sports Medical Center/610 Frederick St.,in Santa Cruz. Pick up and fill out the athletic paperwork from the Athletics Office before then, and bring it with you.

CAREERS WITH CHILDREN: Are you interested in working with children, perhaps in early childhood education or teaching? ROP will offer "Careers with Children" starting in September at Santa Cruz High. The class will be offered Monday/Wednesdays 3:30-5:30 pm. Come register ASAP with Farol Henderson in room 121.

TRANSCRIPTS FOR SENIORS:  If you need a transcript to be sent to a college after graduation, you must fill out a TRANSCRIPT REQUEST form outside of The Registrar'sOffice and her $1.00 for each transcript. Sign up no and the request will be held until grades are posted. You must write the address of the college on the request form so be sure to have it with you.

GRAD NITE BABIES: SENIORS, be sure to bring a picture for the GRAD NIGHT BABY PICTURE WALL. Guess who is in the photo and win!!!!! Unfortunately, pictures cannot be returned. Please put pictures in the labeled box in the office by June 6.

CONGRATULATIONS to all seniors who collected their graduation equipment.....HOWEVER, there are a few who have still not picked up caps, gowns. Please see Cheryl in the front office with your $5 fee as soon as possible to collect these necessary items. ALSO: The first shipment of LATE ORDER caps and gowns has arrived. Please bring your $5 fee and pick them up ASAP from Cheryl in the front office.

SENIORS: Please check list of overdue textbooks posted on the door of the Textbook Room. Books must be returned or bills paid before yearbook distribution, prom, and graduation.
