The SHS Daily Bulletin is a valuable reference where millions of online viewers seek and find information about school events, sports, club meetings, etc. It is also a publication that reflects the incredible school spirit, ever-present professional demeanor and dedicated allegiance of our students and, most definitely, our staff to Soquel High.

WORK PERMITS:  Please be aware that work permits may be revoked if your semester grades are below a C average (2.0 GPA) and your attendance is poor.

LOCKERS:  All lockers must be emptied by Friday, June13 at 5:00 pm.  Starting Monday 6/9, there will be trash cans in all the hallways for any itmes you want to dispose of with everything left behind after 6/13 going to Goodwill or the dump.  Please be sure you return all textbooks and library books to their proper location and NOT the trash cans!

ATHLETIC TRAINER COURSE -- Here's a new ROP class for all of you athletically-minded students!  ROP will offer an Athletic Trainer class starting this fall at Harbor High from 7:20-8:20 AM on Friday mornings only plus 1 Saturday per month. You can earn at least 1 credit with possibility of more with an internship!  See Farol Henderson in room 121 for signups!

CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATION CAREERS:  Sign up for the CSI summer 2008 class at Harbor High....June 16-July 17 from 9 am-noon.  Up to  3 credits available.  See Farol Henderson in room 121 to sign up this week.

BLUE & GOLD CAFE:  The winner of the frequent buyers club drawing are:  Glenn Maynard, Andra Rudolph, Clio Mykland, and Carlos Martinez.  Please come to claim your two movie passes prize in room 201.

GRADUATION REHEARSAL:  ...will be held on Thurs., 6/12 at 1:00 p.m.   Please be on time if you want to sit with a friend.  The graduation ceremony will be on Friday, 6/13 at 12 noon. Please meet at 11:00 a.m. on the practice infield behind the stadium.  Seniors must clear all testbook fees in order to receive their diplomas.

YEARBOOK INFO:  Mass distribution is free and will take place each day after school from Mon., 6/9 – Wed., 6/11 in room 312. Bring your ID!!! Still need to purchase a yearbook? Pick up an order form from the Finance Office and turn it in by Fri., 6/6. Orders submitted after Tuesday, 6/3 will not be able to partake in early distribution. Students can purchases yearbooks for $90 at room 312 after school during mass distribution from Mon.,6/9 – Weds., 6/11.

INTERESTED IN THE OUTDOORS? -- How about a career in the outdoors? ROP next year is offering a course that will focus on outdoor adventure, careers and ecology. The class is for five units a semester and will be on the first and second Saturdays of the month. If interested, see Ms. Robinson in the counseling office.

CAREERS WITH CHILDREN: Are you interested in working with children, perhaps in early childhood education or teaching? ROP will offer "Careers with Children" starting in September at Santa Cruz High. The class will be offered Monday/Wednesdays 3:30-5:30 pm. Come register ASAP with Farol Henderson in room 121.

TRANSCRIPTS FOR SENIORS:  If you need a transcript to be sent to a college after graduation, you must fill out a TRANSCRIPT REQUEST form outside of The Registrar'sOffice and her $1.00 for each transcript. Sign up no and the request will be held until grades are posted. You must write the address of the college on the request form so be sure to have it with you.
