Welcome! Please take a few moments to get to know Soquel High School and our website, which can put you in touch with the extraordinary opportunities at SHS.

The Academics section contains information on course offerings including a variety of AP courses, the renowned Humanities Academy, and the Green Manufacturing, Engineering, and Construction (gMEC) Academy. Peruse the Counseling section of this website for college entrance information, testing dates, and scholarship opportunities. The Performing Arts section details the Soquel High award-winning Jazz Band, comprehensive ceramics studio, and drama programs such as Knights of the Square Stage.   Knights of the Square Stage Presents a Spring Musical

"Fiddler on the Roof"

Fiddler on the Roof is set in the small Jewish village of Anatevka, Russia, in 1905 and is concerned primarily with the efforts of Tevye, a dairyman, his wife, Golde, and their five daughters to cope with their harsh existence under Tsarist rule.

Memorable songs bring this musical  To Life!  With Tradition, Sunrise Sunset, Matchmaker, Sabbath Prayer and Anatevka; as a member of the audience, you will be able to bask in the warmth of the glow of this heartwarming musical.

Performances-May 1, 2, 8, 9, 2015-7:30 PM and May 3, 10, 2015-3 PM

Humanities Academy for 8th Graders

 

New Brighton and Shoreline Middle Schools will be assessed at their own school sites.

Soquel High will host three assessments (3/24, 3/25 and 3/26) in Room 103 from 4 to 5:30 pm. Students must only attend one of these dates; no need to RSVP. These assessment dates are only open to our non-feeder school students like Twin Lakes, Gateway, Good Shepherd, etc.

Students should come prepared with binder paper and 2 pencils.

Goodwill Trailer Fundraiser

The Goodwill Donation trailer will be in the lower parking lot on March 27, 28 & 29th to collect items. Please bring your stuff because we want it! All proceeds benefit the Soquel Music Foundation Fill the truck and we receive $1000! Donate gently used clothes, household goods, sporting goods, books, working electronics, etc. Please no furniture or large items. Trailer will be open from 9am-3pm, each day. Thank you for your support. For further info or questions, please contact Betsy @ This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Attention Seniors

Attention Seniors who plan or may attend Cabrillo College this Fall 2015. Click on the link to go to the page with instructions and deadlines to qualify for Running Start which is Cabrillo's priority registration. Get started now as their are a few steps to complete. TRAFFIC DELAYS Started
Soquel Creek Water District will be replacing piping along Soquel Drive from 41st Avenue to Porter Street/Old San Jose Road starting in mid-March. Traffic control and partial road closures affecting Soquel Drive will be in effect through August 2014 from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. This will include one-lane limitations and no left-hand turns at times. The area will be subject to traffic delays of up to 15 minutes on Soquel Drive and some adjoining cross streets. Up-to-date information on road closures is available at sccroadclosure.org. Project information is available at soquelcreekwater.org.
