A thin line --from MTV about online safety
http://sites.google.com/site/lovelylibrarylady2/ .iKeepSafe and OnGuardOnline were quite helpful last year when our school planned and hosted a Cybersafety Information Night for parents and Cybersafety Week for kids at school. They gave us (for free!) many resources to use for a presentation and also to give to all the parents and kids, including PowerPoint presentations with scripts, CD-ROM’s with resources, print books and pamplets, and DVD’s. Every kid and parent got a free booklet and CD-ROM (all for free). Representatives from the FBI and our local police department all spoke to the issue at the information night for parents and during the school day to our students.
